Technologies

 

The Technologies Learning Area is highly practical area in which lower school students are encouraged to express themselves and develop skills in decision making and problem solving through the study of food, textiles, wood, metal, information technology, photography, automotive studies, computer aided design and digital imaging.  General courses in Year 11 and 12 include studies in; hospitality, applied information technology, design-technical graphics, design-photography, woodwork as well as various nationally recognised certificate qualifications and provide a practical, hands on approach to learning where students find satisfaction in completing tasks with real life application.
