The Secondary Assistance Scheme<\/strong> (SAS) is available to low-income families with children enrolled in secondary schooling to assist with school expenses.<\/p>\n

Parents\/guardians must apply for the Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS) each school year (annually) \u2013 applications do not carry forward to future years.<\/p>\n

To be eligible for the allowance the parent\/ guardian must hold a Services Australia (Centrelink) or Veterans\u2019 Affairs card that represents a statement of income for the family.<\/p>\n

The allowance consists of two components:<\/p>\n

\u2219 $235 Educational Program Allowance paid directly to the school.<\/p>\n

\u2219 $115 Clothing Allowance paid directly to the parent\/guardian or the school.<\/p>\n

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA<\/b><\/p>\n

Parent or Guardian must hold one of the following cards:<\/p>\n

\u2219 Centrelink Health Care Card.<\/p>\n

\u2219 Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card<\/p>\n

\u2219 Veterans\u2019 Affairs Pensioner Concession Card<\/p>\n

Please Note: The only Veterans\u2019 Affairs Card that meets the criteria is a blue card that is issued annually and expires in December each year.<\/p>\n

The parent\/guardian must be the holder of a card that is valid during First Term.<\/p>\n

Copies of this card (front and back) will need to be provided when applying.<\/p>\n

Completed applications can be handed into the front office or emailed through to our college email address:\u00a0dalyellup.col@education.wa.edu.au<\/a><\/p>\n
